Recent Events

This years club social was held after the club meeting, at the Ideal Bakery in Gibsonburg Ohio on October 20, 2004 As usual the cost was picked up complements of Recker R/C Club. 21 members where present and all had a good time. As a added highlight, Ken Moore gave a gas Tartin engine away. The Tartin engine with Walbro carburetor had been reworked to burn Methyl Alcohol and Caster Oil.

This years Spot landing winner was Ted Csizek. Several photos, which can be found in our photo gallery, where passed around showing Ted’s Flying King entangled in the safety netting at one of the pilot flying stations.

You didn't read wrong!! Now 3 days of fun and excitement brought to you by Tom Kroggel of TnT Landing Gear.


This year on the 6th, 7th and 8th you will get to see some of the best pilots on this planet go head to head. Why the extra day? Well in short a new format will be introduced this year. Starting on Thursday 7pm, March 6th, all pilots registered for this years E-TOC will have to fly a 1st round sequence and then a 1st round free style routine. The results of this first night will give you the 12 pilots that will move on to compete in Friday nights main event. Thats right!! On Friday the 7th at 7pm the top 12 qualifiers will step up once again, but only one will walk away as the best electric pilot in the world.

On the 8th of April starting a 7pm, the 2nd Annual E-X Games will again be held at Harrison R. Waite High School. If you didn't attend lasts years E-X Games, do yourself a favor and catch the action this year as the best piglets in the world try to navigate their electric planes through an obstacle course made to cause mayhem! It really is a fun time!!
